ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

The Quality Management Development Institute (QMDI) is a professional outfit in the business of training and re-training in the science and art of Quality Management in Nigeria.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INSTITUTE

To offer continuous education and training in the field of quality management.

To provide consultancy and assistance to organization in aspects of quality.

To carry out research and publish finding in the field of quality management.

To be the growth and development center in quality management education.

MISSION

The institute aspires to become the reference center in the field of quality management in West Africa sub-region. It aims to achieve this through the provision of training, research, publication and consultancy in particular to several main target group-government departments, and agencies, statutory bodies, as well as profit and non-profit private organizations.

VISION

The institute believe that quality principles needs to be extended to all organizations operational levels to result in an impact. Acknowledging that commitment to a culture of quality should not be compromised, our vision is to create a community that is sensitive to the need for continuous quality improvement.

THE GREAT AWARD-NATIONALOUALITY EDUCATION AWARD 2023

National Quality Education Award is a yearly award instituted by the Quality Management Development Institute. This award is being given to Schools/Education Organizations and individuals adjudged to have been contributing to quality education in Nigeria. The essence of this award is to recognize schools, educational organization and individuals that have excelled when measured against the frame work of excellence (i.e. The Excellence Model).

The three main aims of the Awards are to:

Assist Schools/Educational Organizations to improve

Identify role models to demonstrate what can be achieved

Recognize those who have shown exceptional ability and performance in the management of their Schools/Educations Organization.

The EDUQUALITY AWARDS are presented annually to Schools/ education organizations / individuals that are deemed, by our selection committee to be the very best in the Country.

Some of the criteria for consideration for the awards are

-Quality Tutors/Teachers/Lecturers

-Process Management

-Equipped Laboratories

-Students/Employee Satisfaction

BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN AN AWARDS PROGRAMME

The benefits of winning an award particularly in quality education can not be overemphasized. It rekindles confident in the stakeholders of the school, from the learners, parents, teachers, regulators, and government. Continuous improvement is always the watchword of school award winners as such winners are on their toes.

Most importantly, the award winners may use the National Quality Education Award (NQEDA 2023) logo in their printed and promotional materials, such as Advert, Calendar, Letterhead, etc.

AWARD ENTRY PROCESS

1. Award nominees will be notified via a letter sent via e-mail / Whatsapp message.

2. Acceptance of the nomination should be communicated in writing to the institute by email or by courier of their acceptance of the ward they are nominated for on or before the deadline indicated on the nomination letter.

3.Enclose a full page or more advert of organizations/ schools or individuals that may wish to felicitate with the award winners or advert of the award winners’ services should be placed.

4.Such advert enclosed will be published in a magazine “Quality Quest” to be made available to al the awardees, notable higher institutions, diplomatic corps etc.

5.Any advert, goodwill message, placed in the magazine will be given widest publicity with the award citation of the recipients of the award.

6.The award will also be posted on the internet and on the institute’s website – www.qualityinstituteng.com

7.The advert could be either black and white or coloured

8.All advert must be A4 size or 8″ x 11.

ADVERT RATE

Black and white  N55,000.00

Colour   N65,000.00

NOTE

 a.Fill out the entry acceptance form page of this leaflet (brochure) , then send it back to is either by e-mail or by courier to us.

b.Also send the awardee’s profile if it is a school to us. Or for individual send resurne or C.V to us.

c.Mail the artwork of your advert and/or congratulatory message to us. Whether in black and white or coloured. Colour adverts should include separated positive films in addition. 

All adverts must be pre-paid. It could be corporate such as School/educational organization advert and/or goodwill message such as congratulatory message from friends of your school, PTA, Management etc.

All entries accepted must have adverts with it. At least one advert must accompany each award category in case of organization with more than one award. Please remit the advert fee by drawing a draft in favour of

“QUALITY MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE” and send it to the address below. Alternatively, pay into the institute’s account No: 1011394809 at Zenith Bank Plc and send teller or proof of payment to our address below or by e-mail or WhatsApp.

AWARD DAY

The Award Day 28th September, 2023 will take place at Centre for Management Development, (CMD), Shangisha, Lagos- Ibadan Tollgate, LAGOS, NIGERIA where the award plaque, certificate will be presented.

The International media, West Africa Ambassadors/High Commissioners and the business community will be invited for the award and the occasion will be given publicity on the Internet, T. V and Newspaper at no cost to the recipients.

Awardees are to invite maximum of two guests to the award Lunch. Any awardee who wishes to invite more guest are to pay the sum of N5,000 extra for each guest they invite.
