The Institute fellowship is the highest grade of membership. It is conferred on members of the institute who have attained high level of professionalism in the field of Quality management. Such member must have been associate member for some years and full member for some years. In other worlds, for fellowship of the institute to be conferred on any one, such person must have gone through other stages of membership.

The governing board of the institute may in their wisdom conferred fellowship of the institute on persons who have not fulfilled the above requirements ie pass through other stages of membership. If such person has reach high level of his/ her carrier with unblemished records and showed great interest in process improvements that has positive impacts on the products / services of the organization such person represents, such person may be conferred with the fellowship of the institute with assurance that he / she will continue to support quality improvement efforts in general and in his / her organization and the institute.
